IT’S TIME TO PRAY

It appears that we in America need to awaken to the fact that it is high time to do some serious repenting for turning our backs to the One that has made this nation to stand so long as a world power adorned in freedom.

Today the economy is still very sluggish; over 9% of  our populations is without employment. Oil still gushes from the ocean floor of the Gulf of Mexico, covering our beaches and taking the life of sea creatures and fowls of the air. Our national debt is growing daily and our children and grandchildren are faced with a debt they very well may not be able to pay, because the representatives of our nation think money answers all problems, when it is only the Lord Jesus that is the answer to all problems.

In case people don’t know it, we are beginning to pay for our putting God out of our schools by prohibiting prayer. We struck down the Ten Commandments from the halls of Justice and now take bribes (money) in place of them. Millions of unborn babies  being aborted are being paid for! Unheard of snowstorms in winter and flooding beyond belief cover fields and crops while others dry up from lack of rain. Who but God could do such a thing? When we turn our back on the Source of our existence and begin to do contrary to His Word, God in turn brings to pass the justice to man for his disobedience to God’s Word.

It is time for the people of God who are called by His Name to repent of their wicked ways and cry to God that He will hear and heal the land.

Wake up, Church of the living God, and live righteously, rather than like the world dictates and pray for the turning back of this nation to the living God! The effectual prayer of a righteous man avails much. For this nation to get back on it’s feet, we, the people of God, have to get on our knees before God in earnest sincerity.

We need people in our high offices that fear the Lord. This nation needs revival of the Word of God in it! This nation needs to be proclaiming the Name of Jesus, not being in the process of doing away with It!

I wonder how much more the Lord will have to bring to pass in judgment of our wrongdoings before His people wake up to the need to seek His face for mercy and grace?

Church, let’s begin to seek the Lord for our leaders, Congress and our troops. In that way,  wisdom can prevail in Washington,  and they  will realize that we need to trust in God like our currency says, and that we need to call on Him rather than other nations for help. It would also help our troops prevail in keeping freedom a way of life for this nation. If God isn’t sought for earnestly and compelled to change the path that this nation is taking, we will be insolvent and defenseless in another fifteen years!

It is time the Church that is rich and increased with goods and has need of nothing to realize that in truth, we are wretched, miserable, naked and blind!

It is time and high time to seek God, for the coming of the Lord is nearer than ever before. The multitude in this nation are blinded by the philosophy of men and have forsaken the righteous God! Let’s bring back the King and put Him on the throne in Washington and on the throne of people’s hearts, by prayer and fasting and watch as God once again restores this nation to power and prominence in this world.
