Big Wins at General Conference 2026!
This year's General Conference was full of big vision, anointed preaching, and community connection.
Some of our wins reported by Brother Joseph Hale and Sister Anna Hale include:
We were able to recognize 22 newly licensed ministers Monday night, many who were in attendance at conference— some who were there for the first time, and some who were born and raised in the ABofC!
Six new ministers applied for license during the conference. We are looking forward to the growth we will see this year!
We had three young licensed ministers Tuesday morning from three affiliated churches who brought the Word: Derek Mauldin (Grace Apostolic Church), Steven Moore (Hope Apostolic Church), and Caleb Lisenbey (Plainview Jesus Name Church). Three home run messages!
We held our first church growth symposium and had a great turn out and great response! People have already been reaching out to follow up on what they have learned and to ask questions. We encourage everyone to continue to reach out!
The symposium included a wealth of resources that were available to those in attendance and will soon be available to all members on the website.
Sister Christina Link reported:
The Ladies day service was inspiring and impactful as we experienced a powerful move of God, with over 50 ladies in attendance.
Three dynamic speakers shared on the topic “faith”. Sis. Michelle Tubbs spoke on having faith to answer the call, Sis. Karla Shoulders spoke on having faith during storms, and Sis. Pat Humphries spoke on having everyday faith.
Fellowship was one of the greatest blessings. As we gathered in small groups and shared a meal together, the meaningful connections we formed inspired a shared vision for a future ladies’ conference.
There is no doubt that we all walked away with a greater understanding of our purpose and a renewed desire to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
There are future reports to come from Missions, Camp Mulberry, and much more!
